Far Away | Male | Adult | Pack of Stars | Alpha
Far Away lay in the center of his home, the bone from some creature in his mouth and held by his paws. The sky was white with clouds, but a few rays of sunshine or blue sky came through the thick layer. Not yet being summer, or even full into spring, it was cold. Surrounded by other bodies, he felt comfortably warm, which was good, since his fur wouldn't have any protection for him. His pale tongue passed over the bone, and he decided that it had lost most of its flavor over the last hour. He picked it up and rose from the stone that he had warmed. The wolves around him made way for their alpha. He went out of the ruins for a moment, but only to bury the bone in the ground.
He returned to the shrine, but instead of returning to his original central spot, he stood on the outer areas, basking in a ray of sunlight. As he gazed over his vast territory, he realized that he had so much space to roam. The flatness of the land showed off even more ground than the other packs' territory, no doubt. Unfortunately, it also made the place feel like it was in the middle of nowhere, deserted. He knew that wasn't true, and turned his thoughts away from that, to something more positive. It was an excellent day. For the most part, he had relaxed. He would have to do something rather than laze about all day. Maybe he would organize a caribou hunt for the next day. Or maybe not, after all, they were relatively healthy and full. Or maybe he should, since they were coming around birthing season, and the mothers would need plenty of food.

OOC Notes: My image of the shrine is a large open place kind of like a pavilion.
