No New Posts Riverside Training Ground

The Pack of the Ashes features an interesting educational system, in which Learners train in small packs under a single Teacher. They all stay in a well-protected area-- which is this strip of perfect (albeit barren) land, with a steep slope next to it and a wide river on the other side. It's hidden well from enemies and provides learning material for each ranking. However, it sacrifices its safety from floods and escape routes for enclosure.

No New Posts Forest's Edge

This area is where the forest begins-- not the burned area that makes up most of our territory. Scattered pines cover a slowly rising area with dark soil and a layer of pine needles. It eventually leads to neutral territory between the Pack of Shadows's territory and our own, which must not be entered. Prey runs rampant here, but it can be seen as dangerous with its steep cliffs along the edge.

Board Description
The Pack of the Ashes
When you see this barren land, you think nothing could live here. With gray husks of trees, some fallen and some upright, strewn about with no leaves, there's little potential for shelter. However, new tufts of growth and fresh pine saplings bring forth prey, and prey brings forth wolves. These wolves, however, tend to be a hint dangerous-- far less so than the inhabitants of the bordering pine forest (The Pack of Shadows), but still hostile and untrusting. They jump on the chance to get resources or prey, and defend their land so fiercely one begins to wonder if it has a secret-- which, surprisingly, it does. Over the course of years, the territory could blossom into a lush forest, and the ones knowing of this fact are just waiting for the other packs to bow at their paws. The inhabitants of the Pack of the Ashes have mixed coats to match the streaking shadows all throughout the territory. Their hiearchy functions like a body, with all the wolves at equal rank and working together. The Pack of the Ashes is on bad terms with the Pack of Stars, due to their opposing beliefs on ruling. They depend heavily on daylight, due to it helping plants to grow, so they worship the Sun God the most.
